General-purpose plastic

General-purpose plastic is a collective term for versatile plastic (thermoplastic plastic) consumed in great volume in a wide variety of areas, including film packaging materials, containers, bottles, caps, home electronics, and everyday goods. Most plastics that we see on a daily basis are general-purpose plastics. Representative general-purpose plastics include polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), polystyrene (PS), and polyvinyl chloride (PVC).

Engineering plastic

Engineering plastic is a collective term for the plastic used in greater volume in industrial parts that exhibit excellent mechanical strength and heat resistance compared to general-purpose plastic. Representative engineering plastics include polyacetal (POM), polyamide (PA), polycarbonate (PC), modified polyphenylene ether (m-PPE), and polybutylene terephthalate (PBT). Plastic whose performance is superior to the engineering plastic is called “super engineering plastic.” Representative super engineering plastics include polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) and polyether ether ketone (PEEK).

Elastomer

Elastomers are a material with rubber elasticity. Melted by heat, elastomers can be easily formed and can be recycled. It is often used as a substitute for rubber. Elastomer types include styrene-based elastomers, olefin-based elastomers, polyvinyl chloride-based elastomers, and urethane-based elastomers and are selectively used depending on the purpose. Elastomers are used in our daily lives, such as stationary, automobile, foods, medical goods, and everyday goods.

Eco-friendly products

In recent years, environmental efforts are drawing global attraction more than ever. With a policy of CO2 emission reduction, we are intensively selling eco-friendly resins, such as bioplastic, bio-degradable plastic, and recycled materials, to make environmental contributions. These are products whose demands will be increased into the future.

Introduction of selection of products

Selection3 Mixing nozzle

This is a coloring agent dispersion device to be mounted on an injection molding machine. By replacing the standard nozzle in use with this nozzle without modifying the operating injection molding machine, it is possible to improve the coloring agent dispersion property on molded products, reduce the molding defect rate, and save raw material resin and coloring agents.
